Our citrus olive oil cake is a staff favorite. The crumb is delightfully tender and the flavor is packed with citrus, almond, and a subtle earthiness from the olive oil. For the winter season, we’re festively topping it with lemon glaze, freeze dried strawberries, and mint, oranges, and lemon zest that we candy in house. We love enjoying it with our morning coffee even though it’s beautiful enough to be the centerpiece of your meal. This delicious cake is also great for gifting.
Each loaf is 8 inches by 3.5 inches and serves 7-8 guests. A serrated knife works best for slices through the oranges.
